Are you looking to get involved in Florida's infrastructure and be part of prestigious projects, as the heavy civil sector is currently busier than ever? We are looking for experienced Senior Project Managers or Project Managers looking to step up to be responsible for the development of cost estimates.
Responsibilities.
- Preparing full heavy civil construction estimates thoroughly in a timely manner including takeoff, solicitation with proper backup, and supplementary information, by using estimating software for heavy highway civil and bridge projects.
- Preparing / heading up the estimates for heavy civil construction projects
- Capable of preparing thorough estimates and doing a bid closeout.#
- Managing other estimators/project managers
- Read and review all bid RFQ and RFP documentation to have a thorough understanding of the project.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the heavy civil construction field
- Minimum of 3 years in project management
- Extensive experience in highways and tunnels
Preferable
- B.S. in civil construction is preferred but not required.
- Experience working at a heavy civil construction company in FL
