We have a fantastic opportunity at a local long standing, reputable steelwork contractor. They are currently looking for a Project Manager with knowledge of the Structural and Miscellaneous steel. This position would require 3 years' experience at a steelwork contractor.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage construction budgets and negotiate to save cost and time
- Coordinate schedules for material, equipment and installation
- Communicate and work closely with detailers, estimators and erectors
- Review, amend and submit shop drawings
- Good time management - managing clients expectations and needs
- Visit job sites and attend meetings when needed
- Communicate with general contractors, engineers, management and architects.
Experience:
- Three to five years of project management experience in steel
- Previous experience in Project Management in a steelwork contractor
- Bachelors in Project Management (preferred)
