Operations Manager – Building Automation Permanent

The Operations Manager role is a full-time position managing a team that is responsible for the execution and financial performance of a portfolio of projects. You will lead the overall operational efforts for projects of all sizes in new construction or retrofit environments across various vertical markets. As the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for client experience, project deliverables and the financial success of a portfolio of projects. Additionally, you will be managing a team that is expected to support the growth of a specific market or territory.

Primary Functions

Operational manager for a team that will implement Automation and Energy Management projects
Develop projects plans and ensure compliance with all contract documents
Promote a safe work environment and safety culture within the team
Ensure Client experience remains a focus and priority across the project portfolio
Train and develop a team of Project Managers and Engineers
Provide a financial forecast for all projects within assigned portfolio
Support Sales and Operations management in driving additional business
Finalize the complete turnover package and close out documentation on all assigned projects
Manage subcontractors and to ensure the quality of the installation

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, preferred
PMP Certification, preferred
Minimum 5 Years Experience in the following areas of Building Automation:
Engineering
Programming
Commissioning
Proficient in Schneider Electric, Siemens and/or Tridium product lines
Management Experience (3 Years)
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
Proficient communication skills in the English language
