Novax Recruitment is actively seeking a Senior Finance Officer based in Enfield. This is a temporary contract working full time hours.

Responsibilities include:

• Maintaining key financial processes across the Council and will require attention to detail and excellent communication skills at all levels of engagement.
• Budget monitoring, forecasting and Medium term planning for the revenue General fund services
• Supporting budgets holders with managing all elements of their budgets
• Supporting the production of business cases and financial appraisals for business decisions
• Completing Government returns, ad hoc financial analysis and a range of other financial and accounting tasks as required

Skills and experience required:

• AAT qualified/part qualified CCAB accountant
• Excellent experience and understanding of company accounting
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and above average Excel skills
• Recent experience of SAP Finance and Capital closedown is desirable.
• Public sector experience is desirable
