Electrician

The post would be to carry out electrical repairs, installations and testing in Selby domestic housing stock.

Working hours would be 37 as follows: Mon-Thurs 8:30 – 4:30 Fri 8:30 – 4:00 Working from Property Services Office at the Vivars Centre in Selby.

(Collect vehicle am and return vehicle pm, parking available at site)

Roles and Responsibilities:

The Electrician role would report to our Electrical Supervisor and would be autonomous in that jobs would sent through to mobile PDA devices and wherever possible appointments pre-booked.

SDC van would be supplied, materials collected from local merchants however appropriate tools would not be supplied.

There may be potential for standby/call out, but this has not yet been evaluated.

Essential Requirements of the post:

* Full clean driving licence

* Experience in domestic repairs, installations and testing. (Preferable experience in Social Housing)

* NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation work or equivalent

* City & Guilds BS7671 18th Edition

* City & Guilds 2330 Level 1 and 2
