Novax Recruitment is actively seeing a HR Consultant. This is on a temporary basis with view for extension and possibility of permanency.

The client can accommodate home working with occasional office based meetings. For this reason we are considering candidates from commutable distances.

The main focus of this role will be around case management, disciplinary, sickness management, grievance, as well as change management and restructure.

Responsibilities include:

• Provide high quality and consistent HR advice, guidance and support to the client, delivering a responsive and flexible service which supports the organisation.
• Provide quality support regarding Employee Relations, Reward and Recognition, TUPE, organisational change and organisational development
• To lead on and support HR projects or work programmes, e.g. recruitment campaigns, development or review of HR policies, roll out of mandatory training programmes
• To be responsible for specific service based HR initiatives, eg briefings on absence or performance management
• Assist in development, review and dissemination of HR policies, procedures, guidelines and strategies

Skills and experience required:

• CIPD or equivalent, or significant experience within HR
• HR support in delivering change in a complex organisation
• Case management experience, disciplinary, grievances, sickness management etc.
• Experience in building relationships and challenging managers positively
• Experience in change management, including restructures
