Contract Part Time, 3 to 4 Days a week, 21 hours

My client is seeking a project manager who will be working in the corporate Transformation team and is responsible for the project management of an emerging Integrated Care System Estates Programme across Southwest London funded by the national One Public Estate programme.

Responsibilities

* Provides inspirational and constructive leadership to ensure high performance within a networked operating model.

* Commissions services and activities to secure the best outcomes for service users and deliver optimum value for money, in line with the Council’s commissioning and contract management frameworks.

* Manages the performance of the team, working with colleagues to define outcomes, set targets and monitor performance, within a culture of continual improvement.

* Translates internal and external intelligence in order to continually adapt and improve the services in line with demand.

* Continually looks for ways to improve and modernise our service to customers, including developing and implementing digital/automated processes and eliminating paper wherever possible.

* Development and update of project management documentation including PID, project plans and critical paths, highlight reports, risk/issues log

* Researching and benchmarking best practice (internally and externally)

* Matrix management of project teams

* Drive the spread of positive disruption and the development of an accountability culture across the organisation by enabling all staff members to turn ideas into tangible deliverables with evidenced impact.

To apply for this position, you will have experience of delivering change and transformation in the Public Sector, with an understanding of Local Authority Services. In addition, have knowledge and understanding of estate and asset management strategies in the public sector is desirable
