Working hours; 45 hours/week

£18.00/hr or £35-42k

Our client are actively seeking permanent self-motivated and experienced personnel to join their progressive team to help achieve the successful delivery of an expanding order book.

Providing bespoke metal products for a number of Clients across the Process, Food, Pharmaceutical and Construction industries, the workload is varied and candidates with a broad knowledge of materials, fabrication and welding processes and installation methods would be ideally suited.

The ideal candidate should be;

• Fully conversant in AutoCAD
• Have an in-depth knowledge of the metal fabrication industry, including:

Structural Steelwork – Architectural Metalwork – Sheet metalwork – Pipework.

• Experienced in Excel and other Microsoft Office products
• Able to produce take-offs, obtain prices from suppliers, calculate costs, produce estimates and submit quotations to clients.
• Willing to undertake site visits to carry out surveys.
• Able to demonstrate a good working knowledge of Health & Safety and hold a valid CSCS card.
• Aware of the requirements of Quality procedures.
• Be able to project manage smaller jobs in their entirety.
• Hold a clean full driving licence
• However, lesser experienced candidates will be considered, provided they can demonstrate a working knowledge of a number of the key requirements above.

Alternatively, the position may suit somebody looking to step down from a more senior role in the industry.
