Regional Sales Manager Permanent

The role will maximise hire revenue of temporary propping and formwork solutions within the allocated region, working directly or indirectly on schemes with the Regional sales, Business Development Managers and National account teams that deliver gain revenue for the Company.

The role:

• Complete successful lead generation to and from customers across propping and formworks to deliver hire revenue.
• Research, identify and evaluate region-wide opportunities and own, or brief schemes, to sales colleagues within submission deadlines.
• Absorb and understand propping and formwork technical information and translate into customer engagement and design briefs.
• Demonstrate expertise and knowledge of the propping and formwork sector within the region to generate revenue growth opportunities.
• Support the development and engagement of national and regional key accounts for delivery of revenue targets.
• Identify New Product Development or modification opportunities to enhance our product offering to make revenue gains against competitors
• Regular visits to new, prospective and existing customers, independently or in collaboration with a Field Engineer and/ or a Sales Manager.
• Works with the regional Sales Managers or other members of the sales team on the follow up of lead generation with visits to customers and/or customer sites.
• Work across multiple customers and sectors, with multiple contacts internally and externally, engaging colleagues as required.

Requirements:

– Engineering degree preferable

– Five years’ experience of Propping &/or Formwork sales

– Experience in Construction hire and/or sales market (preferably temporary works sector)

– Driving licence
