Our client is a leading contractor who design supply and install temporary works. They are recruiting for a field sales engineer to assist sales managers and end clients with upskilling and design queries.

Field sales Engineer
up to £42,000 + Car and Bonus
Location (South west / South) M4 corridor ideally

Job role

Support sales and engineering functions through the provision of initial scheme solutions across all product groups.

Key parts of the role

Support field sales colleagues with technical expertise and engineering credibility for sales pitches with customers.
Receive and respond to customers’ general technical and product enquiries in the building of design briefs and solutions.
Assist and develop Sales staff with 1:2:1 session, meetings, and incentives.
Company solutions with the customer.
Develop and deliver product knowledge training for customers and sales colleagues.
Maintain technical knowledge and awareness of competitor and customer products and solutions to allow company to lead, develop or respond to changing markets.
Understand and share market trends and developments which impact on company products and sectors.

Essential
Degree educated in Civil Engineering/ Structural Engineering
Temporary Works sector experience /Civil Engineering / Construction Sector
Customer facing experience
Confident
Driving licence
