The Cost Management team are agile and flexible in providing a comprehensive range of services from cost planning and procurement through to post contract and employers agent services, to support clients through the whole project life cycle with particular expertise in the provision of early cost advice using our internal databases, whole life costings, cost management of net zero carbon/decarbonisation programmes, specialist mechanical and electrical cost management as well as the design and implementation of innovative procurement strategies.

You will be a proactive and a creative cost manager able to lead and manage your own projects with autonomy. These are just some of the exciting projects we are currently delivering:

Working as a key member of the cost management team you will be responsible for a wide range of services, to:

Driving of projects pre contract including evaluation/ preparation of costs and Benchmarking data.
Provide advice on contract arrangements and conditions under which building will be constructed.
Advise on creative procurement strategies.
Manage the costs of projects during the construction stage and negotiate final accounts.
Lead from the front as regards to client facing meetings, dealing with multi-disciplined teams and project delivery.
Attend Client facing meetings and develop long lasting relationships.

Experience / Skills:
MRICS (or working towards this qualification in next 12 months).
Confidence and excellent communication skills.
Commercial awareness.
Willingness to coach and mentor junior staff.
Leadership skills to drive projects to a successful conclusion.
Interested in using computers for measurement, calculations, and testing designs.
NEC 4 and JCT contract administration.
An inquisitive nature and analytical mind.
