As a Geospatial Surveyor you will benefit from on job learning experiences whilst working on prestigious projects. Our projects include large residential, industrial and commercial schemes with contract values over £30 million to much smaller schemes. You will also work with interesting clients including, large retail companies, local authorities, Schools/Universities, contractors, developers etc. together with the option to work on exciting overseas projects.
Responsibilities:
* Act as lead surveyor for projects and co-ordinate the management of surveys alongside a client liaison role
* Oversight of incoming projects and the financials behind a team target system, monitoring income and expenditure on projects
* Mentoring/training of assistant surveyors in the use of laser scanning, topographical equipment and associated software
* Perform QA checks of assistant surveyors work before issuing to clients
* Undertaking topographical surveys using the latest in robotic total station and GPS technology and processing using N4CE software.
* Undertaking measured building surveys using a variety of specialist laser scanning equipment including the Leica P40, Leica RTC360, Leica BLK2GO and the Faro Focus S150.
* Processing and analysing topographical survFey data to create 2D/3D topographical surveys using N4CE
* Registration and processing of laser scan survey data into useable point cloud data using Leica Cyclone/Register 360 and Faro Scene.
* Analysing data using plans, maps, charts and software such as AutoCAD and GIS programs
* Preparing 2D and 3D survey drawings/models using AutoCAD and Revit
* Presenting data to clients and writing reports
Qualifications:
* Experience in using AutoCAD, Revit
* Experience in using laser scanners
Further Details
* Office working hours are between the hours of 08:30 and 17:00 with a 1-hour lunch break.
* Working weekends may be required in addition to starting earlier and finishing late on some occasions.
* Full clean UK diving license is required.
* Travel for work purposes is provided via company or hire cars
