Take ownership of the quality of repairs and maintenance carried out in the day-to-day running of the production facility to ensure product service levels are maintained.
Ensure the maintenance schedule is adhered to and Update PPM details using knowledge and experience of the equipment

Role – Team leader – Mechanical engineer (fabrication)

Location – Derby

Salary – £31,000 – £34,000

Site based

Our client is looking for production support across the facility, particularly a team leader with a mechanical or fabrication background. This individual will have experience in leading first-line response and maintenance in a busy workshop.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:
* Take ownership of the quality of repairs and maintenance carried out in the day-to-day running of the production facility to ensure product service levels are maintained.
* ·Ensure the maintenance schedule is adhered to and Update PPM details using knowledge and experience of the equipment
* ·Project repairs
* ·Floor walks reporting maintenance or H&S issues.
· Maintenance management
* ·Experience in mechanical maintenance or MIG and TIG welding.
* ·Understand and promote the company’s Health and Safety policy and promote a safe working environment culture

Overtime available at time and a third, Sunday or Bank Holidays double time)
