Senior Project Quantity Surveyor Permanent

Role: Senior Project Quantity Surveyor

PAYE: £50,000 – £70,000

We have an exciting opportunity to join our client as a Senior Project Quantity Surveyor. The successful candidate will be responsible for the management and delivery of all commercial aspects of allocated project(s), ensuring that profitability and financial return to the business is maximised in a manner that doesn’t compromise long term business relationships with clients.

Duties

Responsible for the preparation of the Authority to Proceed (ATP)

Responsible for the preparation of the Project Execution Plan (PEP)

Responsible for the preparation of departmental and project Budgets

Responsible for the preparation of Sub-contractors / Bought Outs Recovery Sheets

Arrangement of and participation in Project Team Meetings

Responsible for the preparation of Client / Sub-contract Notification / EWN

Responsible for the preparation Final Accounts

Responsible for the preparation of the Lessons Learnt document

Responsible for the management of Sub-contractor and Supplier Measures / Variations / Applications & Commercial Close out

Critical Performance Measures / Objectives:

Profitability of Project

Accuracy and punctuality of Reporting

Relationships with internal and external clients, consultants and stakeholders

Ability to administrate the contract

Management of cash flow

Requirements:

Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying preferred but dependent upon experience.

Working towards chartered status preferred but not essential

Good experience in Quantity Surveying. A sound knowledge of the structural steelwork industry is required. Computer literate with a good knowledge of MS word and MS Excel.

Professional, diligent, trustworthy, smart and presentable with excellent written and oral communication skills.
