Role: Structural Design Engineer

Salary: €60,000

Hybrid working an option after 6 months

We have a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious Structural Design Engineer to join our client. This will role with provide excellent opportunities for development is structural steel design, design management and career advancement within a structural design department working on projects primarily within the Pharmaceutical, Industrial, Commercial and Food & Beverage sectors.

Responsibilities for Structural Design Engineer

• Structural analysis and design of building structures in steelwork to Eurocodes.
• Use of structural engineering design software (Tekla Structural Designer, Masterseries, Idea Static, etc.)
• Liaise with our team of in-house detailers to achieve project design deliverables and fabrication time lines in line with our clients requirements
• Coordinate design with project Engineers and Architects.
• Attend regular client and design team coordination meetings
• Building internal and external relationships as an integral team member
• Support the construction team with site queries

Qualifications

• A degree in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering with ambitions to become Chartered with Engineers Ireland or The Institution of Structural Engineers
• 1-3 years post graduate structural design experience
