This is a field based, mobile position covering the Birmingham and surrounding areas

This role is working for high-street retail and banking clients

Salary:

Salary up to £33,000 dependant on qualifications and experience

Call out 1 in 8 with £115p/w standby pay

Overtime:

Monday – Saturday time & 1/3

Sunday- double time

Main Duties

• The day to day operation & maintenance of electrical services in line with KPI’s and SLA’s and the Maintenance Model for Preventative Maintenance
• Maintain all Electrical equipment within the building
• Procure materials and equipment to carry out works
• To organise and supervise sub-contractor as and when required
• Assist Lead engineer and Account Manager in ensuring that all Statutory and Legislative requirements are achieved/adhered to for the site
• Attend to reactive calls in line with KPI’s and SLAs
• Communication with Helpdesk on site team and clients
• Identification & reporting of any electrical/engineering issues or faults, which will have a detrimental effect on the building environment & will require action by the maintenance team
• Timely completion of all required paperwork including work record sheets, Risk Assessments, Method Statements & Permits to Work and accurate timesheets
• To ensure the company Health and Safety policy is adhered to
• To partake in the site rota as required
• To partake in a call out rota as required
• To partake in a Race Weekend rota as required
• Assist in logistical moves
• To work from height using appropriate safety systems
• Be available to attend in emergency situations

What we are looking for

• City and Guilds 2360 Parts 1&2 qualification or equivalent.
• IEE 18th Edition Regulations or willing to train
• Experience in dealing with all types of electrical installation and maintenance work, within the services sector.
• Be pro-active and have the ability to anticipate and/or diagnose and repair faults.
• Ability to record work accurately on work sheets and computer-based systems.
• Must have sound interpersonal skills and pay attention to detail.
• Provide excellent customer service to building occupants, ensuring they are made aware of work order progress in a timely manner.
• Good understanding of current Health & Safety legislation and its application within role.
• Good knowledge of building Statutory Compliance.
• Able to ascend/descend vertical access equipment; able to work at height.
• Committed to the delivery of excellent customer service.
• Must be available to join a call out rota.
• Must hold a full UK driving licence.
