Working with a qualified cable jointer to provide assistance in all aspects of new connection Electrical Work.

This could include the installation and termination of Multicore Cables, installing protection panels, wall boxes, busbars, structures and plant as well as small power and lighting

Although we’ll develop your skills and build on your experience, you’ll certainly need motivation, commitment and flexibility, alongside appropriate permission to drive in the UK and willingness to travel between sites.

Your will have completed a modern apprenticeship in an electrical or mechanical area and a City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2/3 in an electrical or mechanical discipline, are essential and will ensure you have all the right qualities needed to enhance your career and our service.

Once fully competent, you’ll then mentor less experienced colleagues, and monitor progress of contractors.

Essesntial Skills

• To have extensive experience in both Commercial and Industrial environments
• To have City & Guilds 236 Electrical Installation Part 1 and 2 or NVQ equivalent
• To have 18th Edition
• Excellent Communication skills
• To have a full British driving licence

Desirable Skills

• Ability to work on their own initiative
• City & Guilds Inspection and Testing 2391 (or be willing to complete this within 6 months of appointment)
• To have City & Guilds NVQ level 3
• Flexible attitude to working which may include infrequent nights away from home
• Innovative approach
• Self-starter
• Highly motivated
